Wendy Rehna (Bargo) Martin

      Wendy Rehna Martin age 45 of Foley, Alabama, departed this life on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Wendell Bargo and Rita (Gambrel) Dunford and was born in Knox County, Kentucky on December 27, 1977. Wendy was a member of the Cole's Branch Baptist Church and she was a fan of Auburn Football and Kentucky Basketball. 

      Wendy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Estill and Ruby Bargo and R.P. Gambrel.

     Left behind to mourn her passing, her mother, Rita Dunford of Corbin, her father, Wendell Bargo of Harlan, two daughters, Whitney Martin and Sherita Martin, both of Foley, Alabama, one brother, Rodney Bargo and wife Stephanie of Harlan, her grandmother, Susan Gambrel of Flat Lick, a dear friend, Randy Odom of Foley, Alabama, two special nieces Rocelyn Bargo and Kennedy Bargo and a special nephew, Brenton Bargo. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

      Funeral services for Wendy will be conducted on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Griffith officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Binghamtown Cemetery at Dewitt. Pallbearers will be David Jackson, Brad Smith, Josh Smith, Devin Moreland, David Eversole and Rick Warren. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
