Ruby Ann (Hale) Davis

          Mrs. Ruby Ann Davis age 74 of Barbourville departed this life on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin. She is the daughter of Myrl and Mae Ota Hale. She was born on December 9, 1948 in Barbourville Kentucky. Ruby was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church. She loved camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

          She is preceded in death by her parents Myrl and Mae Ota Hale, one sister Betty Sue Hale, nephew Donnie Lawson, brother-in-law Frankie Doolin.

          Left behind to mourn her passing, her husband Eddie Davis of Barbourville, two sons Eddie Jeffrey Davis and wife Mandy of Owenton, Kristopher Todd Davis of London,  four sisters Bobbie Doolin of Heidrick, Karen Carrico and husband Tommy of Nashville, TN., Stella Abner and husband Michael of Artemus, Myrln Lawson and husband Don of Barbourville, two brothers Lewis Hale and wife Retha of London, Leroy Hale and wife Ima of Lynn Camp, eight grandchildren Maria Lee Davis, Dustin Davis, Andrew Todd Davis, Owen Davis, Nell Davis, Brittany Davis, Brandi Davis, Susan Davis. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

          Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Ann Davis will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeffrey Branum officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Davis, Kris Davis, Lewis Hale, Rocco Calabrese, Don Lawson, Billy Howard. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

          Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
