Phyllis Jean (Wilson) Ramey

             Mrs. Phyllis Jean Ramey, age 80 of Edmonton Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in the T.J. Sampson Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky.  She was the wife of David Ramey and the daughter of Cecil and Eva Wilson. She was born on July 15, 1942 in Barbourville, Kentucky.

          She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Eva Wilson, one sister, Mildred Hayes and one brother, Quinton Wilson.

          Left behind to mourn her passing, her husband David Ramey, two sons, Rodney Ramey and wife Marie of Florida, and Kenneth Ramey and wife Julia of Florida, one daughter Kelly Ramey Gaines and husband Chris of Florida, three granddaughters, Kassandra and Brianna Ramey of Florida, Katelyn Ramey of Georgia, three brothers Freddie Wilson and wife Denise and family of Kentucky, Larry Dean Wilson and family of Kentucky and Gary Wilson of Tennessee, one sister Sandy West and Family of Ohio. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.

          Funeral services for Mrs. Ramey will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Steve House and Emmett Allen officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Rodney Ramey, Kenneth Ramey, Chris Gaines, Anthony Ramey, Greg Ramey and Ashley Wilson. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

          Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00.
