Myrle (Lane) Garrett

Mrs. Myrle Garrett age 69 of London, KY departed this life on Monday, May 28, 2018 in the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born on April 5, 1949 in Pineville, KY the daughter of Alf and Edna (Hembree) Lane.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alf and Edna Lane, her son, Christopher Garrett and two sisters, Jane Thornhill and Maxine Taylor.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her longtime companion, Terry Lintz of London, two sons, Chad Garrett of Virginia and Norwin Elsasser of Michigan, two grandchildren, Kris and Matthew Garrett of London, four brothers, Alford Lane and Tom Lane both of Barbourville, Lonnie Lane and wife Brenda of Somerset and R.L. Gibson of Tennessee. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

A memorial service for Mrs. Garrett will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
