Linda Ruth (Smith) Shupe

Mrs. Linda Ruth (Smith) Shupe age 68 of Barbourville, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday evening, June 11, 2020 at her home. She was the widow of Earl Allery Shupe  Jr. and the daughter of Lloyd Smith and Ruby Magdalene (Stacy) Smith. She was born on October 1, 1951 in Heidrick, Kentucky and was a member of the Girdler Church of God. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, cleaning and taking care of everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Magdalene Smith, her husband Earl Shupe and one brother Terry Wayne Smith.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her three sons, Michael Shupe and wife Chasity of Henderson, Kentucky, Brandon Shupe and wife Brenda of Barbourville, Kentucky and Jathan Shupe and Natalie of Clinton, Tennessee, nine grandchildren, Enoch, Heavenly, Arianna, Brandon Lloyd, Gabriel, Elza, Cyrus, Harleigh and Kash Shupe, two brothers, Lloyd Smith, Jr. of Barbourville and Stacy Smith of Girdler, four sisters, Mary Hibbard of Barbourville, Sherry Smith of Girdler, Patricia Carter of Texas and Drucilla Marquis and husband Harvey also of Texas. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Mrs. Linda Shupe will be conducted at the Stacy Cemetery at Girdler, Kentucky on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Corey Cobb officiating. Friends and family will gather at the cemetery.
