Katie Rochelle (Grubb) Grubb

      Katie Rochelle Grubb age 24 of Keavy, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Barbourville. She was born on February 16, 1998 in Shelbyville, Kentucky and was the daughter of Lisa (Marcum) Jones and Ronnie Grubb. Katie was a member of North Main Community Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and all her nieces and nephews.

      She is preceded in death by four angel babies.

      Left behind to mourn her passing, her daughter Kayleigh Sue Collins, her mother Lisa Jones of Keavy, her father Ronnie Grubb and wife Delie of Gray, her fiance’ Corbin Collins, four brothers, Travis Grubb and wife Shayla of Barbourville, Bobby Grubb and fiance’ Leanna North of Barbourville, Jonathan Gambrel and fiance’ Hailey Rego of Flat Lick and Delbert Kyle Gambrel of Gray, five sisters, Hayley Grubb and fiancé Colby Mickel of Bimble, Malaina Grubb and fiance’ Xavier Gregory also of Bimble, Madison Marcum of Keavy, Gabriella Grubb of Gray and Megan Mills of Gray. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

      Funeral services for Katie Grubb will be conducted on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Phipps officiating. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Grubb, Bobby Grubb, Travis Grubb, Corbin Collins, Xavier Gregory, Chris Powell, Brandon Powell, Samuel Marcum, Kyle Gambrel and Adam Yeager. She will be laid to rest in the Disney Cemetery at Gray. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
