Joyce Elaine (Hobbs) Engle

      Mrs. Joyce Elaine Engle, age 81 of Cannon, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home. She was the widow of Dewey Ray Engle and the daughter of Bev Hobbs and Stella Mae (Smith) Hobbs. She was born on May 4, 1940, in Greenroad, Kentucky. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed reading her bible and being with family and friends.

      She is preceded in death by her husband Dewey Ray Engle, one daughter Joanne Gregory, one great grandchild, Jaydn Engle and her parents Bev and Stella Hobbs.

      She leaves behind, three sons, Randall Engle and Ronald Engle and David Engle and wife Melissa all of Cannon and one daughter, Sheila Engle of Girdler, five grandchildren, Jason Engle and wife Amanda, Jeremy Gregory, Allie Engle, Keira Tuttle and Seth Tuttle, three great grandchildren, Matthew Gregory, Connor Engle and Kaydence Engle, three brothers and four sisters and one special brother, Jack Douglas Smith and wife Donna of Culver, Indiana. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

      Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Engle will be conducted on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Mounce officiating. Pallbearers will be family. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Dewey in the Engle Cemetery. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 4:00 p.m.
