Diane Lynn Nixon

Diane Lynn Nixon age 62 of Gray, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, February 14, 2020 at her home.  She was the daughter of  Gerald Lee and Janice Kay Nixon, born to them on May 5, 1957.  Diane loved spending her time with family and friends, shopping, getting her nails done and holiday gatherings.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents Gerald Lee and Janice Kay Nixon and her daughter Tonya Lynn Valdez.

She is survived by her loving partner of twenty-eight years, Ronnie Mills, son, Jon Valdez and wife Cameron of London, Kentucky. Step-children, Missy Hibbard and husband Jeff of Bessemer City, North Carolina, Travis Mills of Barbourville, Kentucky, Angela Mills-Helton and husband Mike of Barbourville, Kentucky, Ronda Mills of Barbourville, Kentucky, siblings, Kathy Andersen, Gregg Nixon, Cynthia Deforest and “Terry”, ten grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and many loved ones.

Funeral services for Diane Nixon will be conducted on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mickey Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Jackson Hibbard, Jeff Hibbard, Corey Bruner, Terry Deforest, John King, Jr, and Dennis Newman. She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
