Dennis Ray Stewart

          Mr. Dennis Ray Stewart, age 68 of Warren, Michigan, departed this life on Wednesday, November 2, 2002 at his home. He was the widower of Diane (Japenga) Stewart and the son of Levi Stewart and Gladys (Smith) Stewart, born to them on March 12, 1954 in Knox County. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, friend & papa. He is survived by his six children, Sonya Pierce (Denis Pierce), Shawn Stewart (Melanie Stewart), Renee Japenga, Timothy Japenga Stewart, Jason Japenga and Brandon Japenga (Dayna Japenga)

         He is also leaving behind sixteen grand-children, Rachael Johnson (Joshua Johnson), Ashley Pierce, Robert Pierce, Justin Bjorn (Victoria Bjorn), Zaquan Morris, Arianna Camarillo (Javier Camarillo), Maranda Stewart, Chayla Stewart, Jalen Knight, Katelyn Krueger, Cole Krueger, Vivian Adkins, Kayden Adkins, Annalynn Stewart, Maverick Stewart, Annalise Japenga Stewart, along with seventeen great-grandchildren. Meeting him at the gates of Heaven is his three granddaughters, Stephanie Love Stewart, Morgan Love Stewart, Porsche Mills & Grandson Shawn Stewart Jr.

           Mr. Dennis Stewart took pride in his family. He spent a lot of his younger days coon hunting and taking care of his hunting dogs. He worked and retired in Automotive Steel for 50 strong dedicated years.

          Funeral services for Mr. Stewart will be conducted on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Donnie Mills officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Davis Cemetery at Acorn Fork. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
