Bonnie Faye (Jackson) Taylor

      Mrs. Bonnie Faye Taylor age 76 of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 2, 1946 the daughter of Lilbern and Ruby Jackson. Bonnie was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Corbin. She enjoyed painting, coloring and fishing.

      Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Lilbern and Ruby Jackson, one brother, Bobby Jackson and one sister, Sue Henson.

      Left behind to mourn her passing, her loving daughter, Pamela Garrett and husband Tim of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, two sisters, Judy Stringer and Ann Bunch and husband Tom all of Corbin, three brothers, Jerell Jackson and wife Dorinda of Arcadia, Florida, Lynn Jackson and wife Lisa of Bushnell, Florida and Cliff Jackson and wife Sue of Henry County, Kentucky, two great nieces and nephews who though of Bonnie as a grandmother, Camden Henson and Annslee Henson. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

      Funeral services for Bonnie Faye Taylor will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Michael Mays officiating. Pallbearers will be, Jason Gist, Robert Holt, Greg Blish, Tim Garrett, Austin Henson, and Robbie Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be, Bluegrass Care Navigators and all members of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in the Jackson-Garland Cemetery at Cannon. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
