Mrs. Zelma Mills age 77 of Cincinnati, Ohio formerly of Dewitt, Ky., departed this life Thursday – August 28, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Zelma was the widow of Clyde Mills and the daughter of the Late James Henry & Cenia (Epperson) Bargo who was born to them on March 21, 1931. Mrs. Zelma Mills believed in the Baptist faith. She had been a factory worker at Klostermans Bakery. She enjoyed quilting, and working in flowers. Her husband Clyde, parents James Henry & Cenia Bargo, three brothers Charlie, Clark, Leamon, two sisters Floye Carnes, Pauline Bargo, three brothers-in-law Ken Mayo, Clofus Broughton, and Bill Shropshire preceded Zelma in death.
Survivors include her two sons James Richard Mills & wife Roberta of Norwood, Ohio, Clyde Mills Jr, & wife Barbara of Milford, Ohio, one brother James Henry Bargo, Jr. & wife Penny of Hamilton, Ohio, four sisters Hallie Mayo of Dewitt, Ky., Dorothy Broughton of London, Ky., Mary McDaries of Tazewell, Tenn., Ivonyettia Shropshire of Ohio. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma Mills will be conducted on Sunday – August 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Owen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mudd Lick Cemetery at Dewitt with Family & Friends serving as pallbearers. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.
