Teresa Ann Parsley

Teresa Ann Parsley, age 71 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday July 16, 2025, in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was the daughter of JB and Hazel Farmer born to them on March 1, 1954 near Barbourville, KY. 

On November 14, 1975, Teresa united in marriage with Gary Parsley and to this union four sons were born. Teresa retired from the U.S. Post Office where she worked for twenty-three years. 

She was preceded in death by her father, JB Farmer, her ex-husband Gary Parsley and a sister, Darcen Farmer. Left behind to mourn her passing, her mother, Hazel Farmer of Barbourville, four sons, Gary Lee Parsley of Columbus, Ohio, Jeffrey Brian Parsley of North Carolina, Robert Ryan Parsley of North Carolina and Steven Michael Parsley of Columbis, Ohio, four grandchildren, Zachary, Megan, Bradley and Jazmine, and one sister, Rhonda Evans of Covington, Louisiana. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Teresa Ann Parsley will be conducted on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
