Scott Allen Baker

Scott Allen Baker, age 60 of Heidrick, Kentucky, passed away on July 9, 2026. He was the son of Matt Baker and Wilma (Gutterud) Baker born to them on July 15, 1965 in Monroe, Michigan. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Barbourville.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Wilma Baker, his beloved sisters, Mary Roark and Hope Baker and a brother-in-law, Wesley Roark.

Scott leaves behind his brother, Craig Baker of Heidrick and his sister, Darla Brown of Barbourville along with his nieces and nephews: Kayla Smith and husband Don of Flat Lick, Hope Renee Baker and fiance’ Allen Carmack of Barbourville, Bethany Deaton and Justin Deaton of Alabama. Charles Allen of London and Colt Baker of Louisville, great nieces and nephews, Eden Smith, Jacob Smith, Autumn Smith, Adalyn Deaton, Oakley Deaton, Ally Jordan, Coleson Deaton and Tanner Deaton. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The family is honoring Scott’s wishes for cremation and no services.
