Nancy Lee Helson

Mrs. Nancy Lee (Smith) Helson, age 78 of Crestwood, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, June 15, 2026 in the Barbourville Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on October 2, 1947, the daughter of James C. and Eurenia Jean (Frazier) Smith.

She united in marriage with Ronal Helson who precedes her in death along with her parents.

Nancy was a member of the Mt. Tabor Methodist Church in Crestwood, Kentucky. She obtained her degree as a registered nurse and retired from Audobon Hospital.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her brother, James Eddie Smith and wife Donna of Gray, two nephews, James Robert Smith and wife Alisha and Leslie Cole Smith and wife Kristen, three great- nieces, Ralyn Smith, Blair Smith and Bexley Smith, two great-nephews, Weston Smith and Baylor Smith and two special friends who she loved as sisters, Sandy Hensley Farmer and Betty. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

A memorial service to honor her life, will be announced at a later date.
