Mary Burnette

Mrs. Mary Mae Burnette age 55 of Chatsworth, GA departed this life on Sunday – April 5th, 2009. She was the wife of Ronnie Burnette and the daughter of the late Robert & Carrie Baker, born to them on November 24, 1954 in Bell County.

Mrs. Burnette believed in God and had been a factory worker for Shaw Industries and the Lee Jeans Company. Mrs. Burnette loved being outside and liked wildflowers.

Mrs. Burnette was preceded in death bye her parents, Robert & Carrie Baker, and one daughter Roxanne Spurlock, and three grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband Ronnie Burnette of Chatsworth, GA, one daughter Melissa & friend Paul Durham of Dalton, GA, one brother David Baker & Violet of Dewitt, KY, two sisters Allen Mullins & H.A. of Artemus, KY, Kathleen Chavies & Elmer of London, KY, four Grandchildren, Mirinda Frederick & boyfriend Charles Kelly, Brandy Sizemore, Benny Carter, Carrie Sizemore, and two Great Grandchildren Hunter Kelly & Austin Fredrick.

Funeral services for Mrs. Burnette will be in the Hampton Funeral home Chapel, on Thursday – April 9th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Mike Collins & Bro. Doug Vernon officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 – 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
