Mae Lemar

Mae Lemar age 98, of Gray Kentucky passed away Saturday January 17, 2026 at her home, she was the daughter of Howard and Lily Hoskins McGeorge. She was born in Bell County Ky, on March 16, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Barbara Lemar, siblings, John Newt McGeorge, Howard Taft McGeorge, Ray Wilder, Eva Elliott.

Left to mourn her passing her children, Creed T. Lemar(Marie), Jack Lemar(Lena), grandchildren, Creed D. Lemar, Timothy Lemar(Joy Mayo), Melody Lemar(Destiny), Michael Bays(Angel), John Bays(Jessica), Adam Bays(Rachel), great grandchildren, Tristan Lemar(Kayla), Caleb Lemar(Emily), Cardonia, Christie, Simon, Brittany Lambdin(Cameron), Logan, Isaac, Gary Michael, Addison, Kennedy, Riley, Chole, Hadlee, Jayden, and Bristol Bays, Clover Cameron, and a host of nieces and nephews family and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mae Lemar will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with the family speaking at the service. She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, from noon until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
