Joyce Helen Smith Wilder, agae 82, of Boone Height, KY departed this life on February 11, 2026 at Laurel Heights Nursing Home, London, KY She was the daughter of Claude and Ethel Smith of Hammond, KY She was born to them on May 21, 1945 in Knox County Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ethel Smith, her brother Leroy (Bud) Smith, and sister Marie Davis, sister- in- laws Phyllis Sue Smith and Stella Smith along with brother- in -law Tom Davis

Survivors include her daughter, Dana Wilder Helton and husband Maverick, London, KY: granddaughter Hope DelGosso and husband Daniel of Paw Paw, IL and Grandson Colby Pedersen, London, KY, She also leaves behind four Great Grandchildren Stella James, Elijah David, Noelle Mae, and Miles Edward all of Paw Paw, Illinois

Survivors also include: Three brothers, Billy Ray Smith, Flat Lick, KY, Ronnie Smith and wife Carol of London, Ky, and Conrad Smith, Flat Lick, KY

Four Sisters: Barbara and husband Bill Daniel, Boone Heights, Ky. Betty and husband David Cole, Cannon, Ky, Wanda Huesing of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Judy and husband Wayne Bernhardt, Nicholasville, KY.

Joyce also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 16, 2026. The Celebration will begin at 12pm at First United Methodist Church, located at 312 North Main Street in Barbourville, KY 40906. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall.
