Curtis Jones

Mr. Curtis Wayne Jones age 64 of Barbourville, KY departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the VA Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was the son of Annie C. Jones and was born on April 5, 1945 in Knox Co., KY. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Army. He believed in the Baptist faith. He loved to fish, watch UK Basketball, gardening and enjoyed helping people.
He is preceded in death by his mother Annie Jones and two sisters, Jean Hill and Freddie Washington.
Left behind to mourn his passing is four step children, Tanya Spencer, Debbie Carton, Ricky Carton and Michael Carton, one sister Joan Mays, several nephews, nieces and step grandchildren and a host of many friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Jones will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Phillip A. Yates officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews of Mr. Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be friends. Burial will follow in the Rosenwald Cemetery in Barbourville. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m.
