Arnie Lewis, Jr.

Mr. Arnie Lewis, Jr. age 68 of Gray, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was born on April 6, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Arnie Lewis and Freda (Smith) Lewis Hensley.

Mr. Lewis served his country in the United States Army for eighteen years. He loved attending antique car shows, going to antique malls and playing cornhole with the family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnie Lewis and Freda Lewis Hensley, sisters, Phyllis Lockhart, Robin Sweet and Wilma Mills and brothers, Ike Hensley and Ronnie Lewis.

Left behind to mourn his passing, his sisters, Rosemary Rutledge and husband Daniel of Gray, Arlene Lewis and fiance’ T.J. Swinehart of Corbin, Josie Hensley of Barbourville and Jean Carter of Barbourville, brothers, Vincent Daniel Lewis of Keavy and Mike Hensley and wife Lisa of Corbin, his children, Megan Ridley and husband Zane and Tyler Humphries all of Georgia. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis will be conducted on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Samuel Lawson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Nan Riley Cemetery in Woolum. Pallbearers will be, Cole Lewis, Nick Smith, Christopher Hedrick, Robert Lockhart, Roger Henry, Jamon Henry, Zane Ridley and Axton Mills. 

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
