Mrs. Anna Faye Carnes, age 85 of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, April 10, 2026 in the Barbourville Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Leon Carnes and daughter of Albert Ramsey and Mattie (McQueen) Ramsey born to them on August 6, 1940 in Richmond, Kentucky. She was a member of Laurel Chapel Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leon Carnes, her parents, Albert and Mattie Ramsey, one son Wesley Brockman, a daughter in law Janie Brockman and a half-brother, Carlos Barrett.

Left behind to mourn her passing, four sons, Randy Brockman of Keavy, Ronnie Carnes and wife Loretta of London, Jerry Carnes and wife Amanda of London and Philip Carnes of Keavy, one daughter, Rose Marie Bryant of Corbin, ten grandchildren, Anna Brockman, Brittany MacIntosh, Cody Aldridge, Brandy Trett, Randy Carnes, Andrew Carnes, Hannah Carnes, Kaleb Carnes, Jennifer Rembold and Jessie Bryant, several great-grandchildren, two half-sisters, Patricia Willis and husband Donnie and Pam Cook and husband Buford all of Tennessee.

She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carnes will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Derek Baker officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Carnes Family Cemetery in Dewitt. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
