Anita Mills

Mrs. Anita Mills, age 74 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. She was born on August 30, 1951 in Knox County and was the daughter of William and Lola (Vaughn) Sprinkles. 

She was saved and baptized at Springfield Baptist Church and attended Parkway Baptist Church when she was able. She loved the Lord and loved her family. In the spring and summer, her favorite pastime was working in her flowers. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lola (Vaughn) Sprinkles, her husband Ulysses Mills and one brother, Danny Bruce King.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her son, Brandon Mills and wife Elizabeth of Bimble, daughter, Tabitha Boyd and husband Michael of Middlesboro four grandchildren, Seth Boyd and wife Cailie, Luke Boyd and wife Taylor all of Middlesboro;  Hunner Mills and Nathan Mills both of Barbourville, four great-grandchildren, Clyde Boyd, Saul Boyd, Ella Boyd and Macy Boyd, one brother, Gary Sprinkles and wife April of Barbourville and a special friend who was closer to her than a sister, Betty White and her husband Mike. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Mills at the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Vaughn officiating. 

Family and friends will meet at the cemetery prior to the service.
