Alesia Ann Brown, age 62 of Barbourville, departed this life on Friday, September 19, 2025 at her home. She was the daughter of Henson Grubb and Beulah (Asher) Grubb, born to them on May 8, 1963 in Corbin, Kentucky.
Alesia was a member of Lovell Church. She loved attending church, spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and going out to eat.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henson and Beulah Grubb, two brothers, Roscoe and Curt and three sisters, Agnes, Mag and Sandy, and her former husband Victor McWilliams.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her three children, Jason McWilliams and wife Leslie of Pineville, Jacob McWilliams and wife Milly of Barbourville and Jana Sutherland and husband Justin of Bimble, thirteen grandchildren, Robert, Madisyn, Brayden, Beulah, Sarah, Gavin, Selena, Alexis, Jacob, Henson, Axel, Travis and Grace, one great-grandchild, Stetson, three brothers, Bo Grubb and wife Anita of Bimble, Jerry Grubb and wife Darlene of Girdler, Don Grubb and wife Jeneen of Barbourville, two sisters, Wanda Messer and husband Tony of Barbourville and Carolyn Bunch and husband Randy of Michigan. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Alesia will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Orangie Wheat and Rev. Fred Disney officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Messer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
