Wayne Mills

Mr. Alfred Wayne Mills, age 69, of Bimble, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital.  He was the husband of Wanda Mills and the son of Henry and Mollie (Hensley) Mills, born to them on April 27, 1949 in Barbourville, Kentucky.  He was the husband of Wanda (Carnes) Mills and to this union was born one son John Wayne Mills of Bimble, Kentucky.  He loved restoring old trucks.

He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Mollie (Hensley) Mills, a brother Flem Messer and a sister Nanny Smith.

Left behind to mourn his passing are wife Wanda (Carnes) Mills, son John Wayne Mills of Bimble, Kentucky, brothers, Darryl Messer and wife Candy  of Walker, Kentucky, Joe Messer of Barbourville, Kentucky, and sister Sherry Moore of Barbourville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Mikey Mills and wife Ashley, Summer Mills, Jeremy Messer and wife Amanda, and Jaxten Mills, and one great-granddaughter, Emily Mills. He is also survived by many relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Mills will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Mounce officiating.  Pallbearers will be Carl Dewayne Hubbard, Jr., Mikey Mills, Jeremy Messer, Dustin Carnes, Charles Riley Carnes and Oscar 'Peanut' Carnes.  Burial will follow in Eli Carnes Cemetery in Stinking Creek, Kentucky.  Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, March 4, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
