Ronald Perkins Obituary
Mr. Ronald Glynn Perkins, age 79, departed this life on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the son of Ralph Perkins and Pansy Mae (Crace) Perkins, born to them on July 29, 1938 in Jackson, Ohio. He united in marriage with Carama Redda (Penix) Perkins on July 19, 1959. Ronald was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Christian Congregation in Barbourville, Kentucky. He was a machinist and a plant manager for more than fifty years, working many years for Taylor Machine.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Carama Redda Perkins, sons Rodney Glynn Perkins of Ft. Pierce, Florida, R. (Ralph) Edgar Perkins and wife Carolyn of Jenson Beach, Florida, Ronald Glynn Perkins, Jr. and wife Jamie of Barbourville, Kentucky, daughters Ronny Carol Goss and husband Ray of Barbourville, Kentucky, Rachel Leah Raos and husband Christopher of Wellington, Florida, six grandchildren Ryan Matthew Perkins and wife Cassandra, Sabrina Yvonne Perkins, Megan Ashley Roldan and husband Brian, Tyler Aaron Perkins and wife Mackenzie, Victoria Anne Raos and Emalee Paige Perkins, and six great grandchildren Adam Ray Perkins, Brandon Michael Pontius II, Abigail Jade Pontius, Sophia Nicole Pontius, Hazel Mae Perkins and Clara Lee Rose Perkins, and two future great grandchildren, brothers Warnie Edwin Perkins of Tennessee, Woodford Rosco and wife Sue of Georgia, and Larry Lee Perkins and wife Betty of Tennessee. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, as well as a host of many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Mr. Ronald Glynn Perkins will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements. Friends will be received from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home
