Ralph Chadwell

          Mr. Ralph Donald Chadwell, age 87 of Cannon, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at his home. He was the widower of Anita (Jones) Chadwell and the son of George Chadwell and Chelsey (Stacey) Chadwell born to them on June 27, 1931 in Knox Co. He was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church and had been a deacon at Greenroad Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, reading, going to church and especially being with his family.

         He is preceded in death by his wife Anita Chadwell, one son, Larry Wayne Chadwell, one grandson, Dustin Chadwell, his parents, George and Chelsey Chadwell, three brothers Kenneth Chadwell, Braxton Chadwell and Arnold Lee and one sister, Rosemary Bass.

          Survivors include his loving children: three sons, Ralph Donald Chadwell, Jr. and wife Debbie of Cranes Nest, Kenneth Carl Chadwell and wife Sherri of Girdler, Christopher Chadwell and wife Heather of Girdler and three daughters, Cathy Stovall and husband Charles of Girdler, Lisa Carmack and husband Wendell of Manchester and Teresa Bingham and husband Mike of Bimble. He also leaves behind twenty grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and one brother, David Chadwell and wife Moneeka of South Carolina and a special  sister-in-law, Wanda Hohman. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

            A memorial service for Mr. Ralph Chadwell will be conducted on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Locust Grove Baptist Church with Rev. David Barnard , Rev. Joshua Chadwell and Rev. Jeremy Bowling officiating.

          Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
