Mr. Marvin Bingham age 74 of Bimble, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1943 the son of Evy Bingham and Mae (Mills) Bingham and was the widower of Charlene (Kidd) Bingham.

Along with his parents and loving wife, he is also preceded in death by one son, William C. Bingham and his siblings, Brenda Austin and Ellis Bingham, and his sister in law, Linda Bingham.

Marvin became a well-known figure in the community, not only because of his love of being around people, but also by the time he spent operating his restaurants which included the Traveler’s Inn, Amanda’s Restaurant, The Country Village and most recently, The Depot on Main. Even though Marvin loved the public and operating his restaurant businesses, nothing could compare to the thirty-four precious years he spent with the love of his life, Charlene, who preceded him in death seven years ago. Now, Marvin and Charlene are together once again, reunited, where they will rest and wait for their many loved ones. He will be greatly missed. He left a legacy here on earth and taught everyone what hard work and dedication looked like.

Left behind to mourn his passing, two sons, Christopher Charles Bingham and wife Diana of Bimble and Mark Anthony Kidd of Paducah, four daughters, Amanda Louise Price and husband Brian of Bimble,  Lisa Marie Cradic and fiance’ Billy Messer,  Teresa Darlene Smith and husband Wayne and Judith Ann Lawrence all of Barbourville, twenty grandchildren, Jessica Swafford, Brian Swafford, Austin Price, Sara Price, Kennedi Price, Lauren Bingham, Brandon Cradic, Charlie Bingham, Tyler Smith, Chris Smith, Miranda Smith, Anthony Penn, Joshua Penn, Daniel Smith, Crystal Kidd, Jason Shelton, Ryan Hammons, Tony Hammons, Danny Hammons and Bradley Petredis, and several great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
