Lois Etta Howard

Mrs. Lois Etta Howard, age 87, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home.  She was the wife of the late Bradley Howard, Jr. and the late Thomas Sexton and the daughter of the late Blaine and Zola (Belcher) Stidham, born to them on November 20, 1931 in Whitesburg, Kentucky.  Lois was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading, playing cards, fishing and spending time with family.

Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bradley Howard, Jr., and her first husband Thomas Sexton, parents Blaine and Zola (Belcher), son Darryl Sexton, daughter Sheila Lopez and brothers James Stidham, Roy Stidham, sisters Earlene Hallmark and Darlis Anderson.

Left behind to mourn her passing sons Gail Sexton of Corbin, Kentucky, Jimmy Sexton of Holly, Michigan, Michael Blaine Howard and wife of Big Creek, Kentucky, Daniel Matthew Howard and wife LaCreasha of Corbin, Kentucky, daughter Darlene Rutkowski and husband Mark of Clinton Township, Michigan, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister Evelyn Fink and husband Bill of Deltona, Florida.  She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lois Etta Howard will be held on at Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home, with Reverend Jimmy Rarrick officiating.  Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery.  Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
