June Mills

June Mills, age 78, departed this life on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her home in Cannon, Kentucky.  She was the daughter of Lloyd and Ada Mills, born to them on October 7, 1940, in Red Bird, Kentucky.   June was a member of the Free Spirit Baptist Church, loved reading her bible and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Ada Mills, brothers Arnold Mills, Robert Mills and Carl Mills.

Left behind to mourn her passing are her son Don Mills and wife Kathy of Hinkle, Kentucky, daughters Lois May Hubbard and husband Howard of Barbourville, Kentucky, Sharon Kay Smith and husband Ernie of Girdler, Kentucky and Judy Ann Smith and husband Ricky of Girdler, Kentucky, ten grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and sister Odie Mae Mills and husband R.J. of Girdler, Kentucky.  She also leaves behind many relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

Funeral services for June Mills will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Roger Liford, Reverend Brian Smith and Reverend Steve Mayle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Patterson Cemetery at Heidrick, Kentucky.  Pallbearers will be Craig Mills, Brian Davidson, Brian Senters, Justin Ball, Joshua Gray, Nick Gunn, Steve Garland and Jerry Mills.  Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
