Jerry Lewis

        Mr. Jerry Orville Lewis age 73 of Bimble, KY departed this life on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 2, 1945 and was the son of Bill and Martha (Henson) Lewis.            

          On September 10, 1966 he united in marriage with Linda Liford and to this union two children were born. Jerry worked most of his life in the coal mines and mining timbers.

          He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack Lewis.

He is survived by his loving family, his wife Linda Liford Lewis of Bimble, his son Jerry Allen Lewis and wife Cheri of Williamsburg, KY and his daughter Rhonda Lewis Martin of Bimble, KY, his seven grandchildren, Brandon Lewis and wife Valina, Colby Martin, Ashlee Mills, Tiffany Lewis, Kesha Gray, Jerrica Hayes and husband Steven and Natasha Fox. He also leaves behind twelve dearly loved great-grandchildren, two sisters, Orphia Lynch and husband Rick and Remona Sizemore along with many nieces, nephews and other family & friends.

          Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lewis will be conducted on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Liford and Bro. Steve Mayle officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews and honorary pallbearers will be special friends and relatives. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 7:00 p.m.

Family & friends will meet at the Barbourville Cemetery on Thursday at 12:00 noon for the committal service.
