Geraldine Messer

Mrs. Geraldine Messer age 76 of Georgetown, KY departed this life on Monday, August 7, 2017 in the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born on May 11, 1941 in Jarvis, KY the daughter of the late Sam & Lucy (Smith) Tuttle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Lucy Tuttle, three daughters, Thelma Marie Davis, Glenda Marie and Anna Lisa , two sons, Carl Niccum, Sr. and David Messer, five brothers, Nick, Donnie, Frank, Andrew and J.B. Tuttle and three sisters, Lily Shepherd, Alice Hughes and Roberta Tuttle.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her two sons, John Ault of Georgetown and Marvin Golden, Jr. and wife Tammy of French Settlement, Louisiana, two daughters, Rhonda Fender and husband Scott of Georgetown, KY and Sylvia Butler and husband Michael of Alcoa, TN, three brothers, Wayne Tuttle, Tommy Tuttle and wife Erin and Sam Tuttle and wife Salray all of Barbourville, one sister Nicey Golden and husband Tom of Cannon, KY, nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Messer will be conducted on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Holder officiating. Pallbearers will be Marvin Golden, Jr., Tommy Golden, Trevor Fender, Terry Smith, Randy Smith, Johnny Bow, Austin Smith and Darrell Tuttle. She will be laid to rest in the Tanyard Cemetery at Smokey. Cobb Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
