Charles Troutman

Mr. Charles Ray Troutman age 69 of Barbourville, KY departed this life on Friday, July 21, 2017 in the Barbourville ARH. He was the husband of Shelby Jean (Hurst) Troutman and the son of Damon and Francine (Lake) Troutman born to them on August 9, 1947 in Knox Co., KY. Mr. Troutman was a veteran of the United States Army and he believed in the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents Damon and Francine Troutman and William Lake who was raised with him as a brother.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife and children, Shelby Jean Troutman, a daughter Jean Ivita Poindexter and husband Terry and two sons, Scott Ray Troutman and wife Jennifer and Charles Vern Troutman all of Barbourville, two sisters, Carol Taylor and husband Bruce and Susan Osborne all of Columbus, Ohio, four beloved grandchildren, Alex Poindexter, Lacey Troutman, Destiny Troutman and Hunter Troutman. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Troutman will be conducted in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Herman Mills officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Dunaway, Paul Hurst, Robert Cox, Justin Cox, Alex Poindexter and Scotty Hurst. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers-in-law. He will be laid to rest in the Croley Cemetery at Poplar Creek. Cobb Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
