Bonnie Faye Bingham

Mrs. Bonnie Faye Bingham age 78 of Gray, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, KY. She was the widow of General Bingham and the daughter of Curtis and Sarah Bee Perkins born to them on April 21, 1940 in Knox Co. She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church at Smokey and she had worked at a finance company and also at the Family Mart but most loved  caring and cooking for her family and pets.

She is preceded in death by her husband General Bingham and her parents Curtis and Sarah Perkins.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her nephew Harold Reed whom she raised as her son, one sister, Billie McCarthy and husband Robert of Smokey, two grandchildren, Sarah Reed of Barbourville and Jeremiah Reed of Georgetown, KY a great grandson Jett Patterson, many nieces and nephews, Curtis Reed and wife Renee’, Robert McCarthy, Jr., Thomas Reed and Lucas McCarthy and great nieces and nephews, Brandon Reed, Emily Reed and Julian Reed. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and dear friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Bingham will be conducted on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant View Baptist Church at Smokey with Rev. Lonnie and Rev. Jeff Sturdivant officiating. Pallbearers will be Kevin Patterson, Thomas Reed, Jeremiah Reed, Ricky Messer, George Smith and Jerry Bartolo. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilbur Bingham, Barry Penn , Claude Scalf and Rev. Lonnie.  She will be laid to rest in the Warfield Cemetery on Walker Park Rd. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Pleasant View Baptist Church on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:009 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
