Atonya Lynn (Robinson) Elwood

Mrs. Atonya Lynn Elwood age 44 of London, KY, departed this life on Tuesday evening April in the St. Joe’s Hospital in London. She was born on July 24, 1973 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Jerry Robinson and Brenda Wagers. Atonya was an employee of SEKRI in Corbin and she attended Callihan Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly especially her granddaughter. She also loved cooking, driving and being in the sunshine. She is preceded in death by her father Jerry.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her loving husband, Ernest Elwood and her three daughters, Kimberly Deaton and husband Brandon of Barbourville and Stacey Elwood and Samantha Elwood both of London, her beloved granddaughter, Kasside Deaton, two brothers, Mark Robinson and wife Tabatha and Jerry Robinson all of London, two sisters, Stephanie Zeo and husband James of London and Belinda Brown and husband James of Corbin, a brother in law and sister in law, Louie Elwood and wife Rose of London, nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Elwood, Jessica Elwood, Abigal Robinson, Cierra Robinson, David Chandley and Derek Robinson. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Atonya Elwood will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Grubb officiating. Pallbearers will be, Tommy Golden, Trey Lovins, Brandon Deaton, Travis Deaton, Derek Robinon and David Chandley. She will be laid to rest in the Merrimac Cemetery at London. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
