Obie Lee Gray

      Mr. Obie Lee Gray, age 56 of Flat Lick, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, February 5, 2024 in the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin. He was born on May 9, 1967 in Bell County and was the son of Joann (Brown) Gray and the late Roy Gray. Mr. Gray believed in the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and riding ATV’s.

      He is preceded in death by a nephew Nicholas Mills and his father, Roy Gray, Sr. 

      Left behind to mourn his passing, his mother, Joann Gray of Flat Lick, a sister, Judy Cowley of Corbin and a brother, Roy Gray, Jr. of Flat Lick, nieces and nephews, Jessica Lunsford (Ricky), Taijha Kleinmann (Andrew), Brandon Gray (Alisha), Ryan Lunsford and Nate Lunsford, great nieces and nephews, Selena Gray, Hunter Gray, Adison Lunsford, Layla Kleinmann, Drew Kleinmann and Chance Mills. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

      Funeral services for Mr. Obie Gray will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Collins officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Roy Gray Cemetery at Flat Lick. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00.
