Stella Peace

Ms. Stella Peace, age 75 of Jellico, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Harley and Peach Morris Smith, born to them on August 9, 1941 in Brazil, Indiana. Ms. Peace had worked as a janitor for the Whitley County School System before retiring. She united in marriage to Denvil “Blue” Peace, who preceded her in death.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Smith.

Ms. Peace is survived by a brother, Leroy Smith and wife Lois of Dry Ridge, Kentucky. She is also survived by many friends and relatives left behind to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Ms. Stella Peace will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Siler with friends of Ms. Peace serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday, March 12, 2017 after 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
