Roy Leonard Grubb

Mr. Roy Leonard Grubb age 79 of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born in Barbourville, KY on February 2, 1939, the son of Obie and Effie (Mills) Grubb. He was united in marriage to Stella (Baker) Grubb, to whom their union was blessed with one son, Brite Grubb.  He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Church of God.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Obie and Effie Grubb, his first wife Stella (Baker) Grubb, second wife Dolly (Taylor) Grubb, brothers Leonard Grubb, Parker Grubb, Lindsey Grubb and Frank Grubb, sister Mary Clark.

Left behind to mourn his passing, son Brite Grubb and wife Joyce of Corbin, Kentucky, brother Glen McCoy Grubb of Barbourville, Kentucky, grandchildren Brian Anthony Grubb and wife Melissa, Tony Travis Grubb, Rebecca Skinner all of Corbin, Kentucky, great grandchildren Adena Grubb, Steve Grubb and fiancé Grace Barto, Chris Grubb, Emily Skinner, Breanna Skinner, Jacob Skinner, Noah Grubb, Brady Grubb, Cheyenne Grubb, Sierra Grubb and Jennifer Bingham, whom he thought of as his granddaughter, and one great-great grandson Grayson James Grubb.  He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Roy Leonard Grubb will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Hubbard and Reverend Rick Lunsford officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Farley Cemetery at Himyar, Kentucky. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
