James Earl Fisher

Mr. James Earl “Papaw” Fisher age 63 of Cumberland, KY departed this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was the son of Morris and Pauletta Fisher born to them on July 18, 1954. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his sons Nathan Fisher and wife Ranne of Heidrick and Gavin Brittain Fisher of Richmond, KY, his daughter Francie Powell of Barbourville,  his brothers and sisters, Wayne Fisher and wife Donna of Heidrick, Randal Dwight Fisher of Mt. Sterling, Gerald Fisher and wife Beth of Heidrick, David Fisher and wife Janet of Indiana, Margaret Jackson of Heidrick and Diane Gray and husband Gary also of Heidrick and a special nephew Samuel Gray along with many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. James Earl Fisher will be conducted in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews of Mr. Fisher. He will be laid to rest in the Fisher Cemetery at Trace Branch. Cobb Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00.
