Glenda Marie (LeMaster) Owens

Mrs. Glenda Marie Owens age 70 of Barbourville departed this life on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was the daughter of Woodrow and Mary LeMaster born to them on January 24, 1947 in Florida. Glenda was an artist, painting, woodburning was her favorites and she also enjoyed movies and music. She is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Owens and her long-time partner, George Greene along with her parents Woodrow and Mary LeMaster, two sisters, Donna Owens and Betty LeMaster and two grandchildren Austin Owens & Russell Owens

          She leaves behind to mourn her passing,  two sisters, Patsy Bacon of Florida and Mary Davis of Greenroad, her nieces and nephews, Vanessa Scott, Shawn Davis, Johnathon Deaton, Eric Goodin, Blake Evan Ustler, P. J. Goodin, Ricky Mills, Dustin Mills, Sheila Owens and Judith Owens and a special niece and caregiver Glenda Faye Gray. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

          A memorial service for Mrs. Owens will be conducted on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Collins officiating.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
