Arvil Lee Grubb

Mr. Arvil Lee Grubb age 71 of Bimble, KY departed this life on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Barbourville Hospital. He was born on April 18, 1946 in Knox Co., the son of Virgil and Bertha (Mills) Grubb. He was a member of the Salt Gum Baptist Church and had worked for Phillips Tree Service for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Otis & Ellis Grubb.

Left behind to mourn his passing, two daughters, Dorothy Brockman and husband Bryan of East Bernstadt, KY and Heather Melfi and husband William of Brownstown, Michigan, two sons, Roy Calvin Grubb and wife Donna of East Bernstadt, KY and Quentin Grubb and wife Stacey of Allen Park, Michigan, one brother, Albert Grubb of Bimble and one sister, Victoria Jordan of Bimble, KY, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends are left to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Arvil Lee Grubb will be conducted on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.Y. Mills and Rev. Charles Carnes officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandsons & Nephews. Burial will follow in the Houston Broughton Cemetery at Road Fork. Cobb Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Cobb Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
